College is Overrated.

This guy says it all, he has put everything I have been trying to explain to people in words and more. You do not need a college education to be succesful and in some cases it truly is a waste of money.

When I see a package of Hubba Bubba it makes me sick just thinking about how many pieces we tried to jam into our mouths.

A Lull.

Right now it kind of a lull before the storm that is our spring season at Hot Shots. I have spent my last week doing tons of prep work and cleaning in order to be ready for the thousands upon thousands of kids we will photograph in the next 3 months.

This week has also made me realize again how much I love my job. The atmosphere is so laid back yet we get a lot done. We have fun and it changes everyday. I look forward to this spring and getting out there making good pictures again.

As for this weekend, I am doing a whole ton of nothing. I have spent the majority of today in my sweats. I organized my room a bit and now it's time for a shower.

What do the hours ahead hold for me. Probably a large amount of Halo, some photochop fun, and a possible adult beverage.

Due to the fact that I have been posting everyday I felt that today it was a good thing to do as well. I have been playing with photoshop a lot lately. Here is one of my recent projects. the person in the photo's is known to a certain web community as Bogginboy. He is strongly disliked by many for his poor bussiness ethics, I on the other hand am rewarded for my amazing skills at making him look like moron. If anyone has any full length photos of kit I would be glad to indulge my skills.

Armored...really?

I took this pic a few weeks ago while passing through a major college town...should be a give away by the businesses(take a guess).

At what point is the armor covered truck deemed useless for defense due to rust? I am pretty sure I could have thrown a pen through the side of this "armored" vehicle and made out like a mad man.

I thought about it, I mean I have seen it in movies and this truck just made it seem so much easier.

Random Events At Exit 80

Tonight was a very random night at the gas station so here are some of the highlights.

-Lady and daughter come in and ask if we take food stamps we do not but they start to grocery shop anyways. Come to find out the debit card they have is no good we run in about 8 billion times still no good. I felt bad but did not have the money myself to pay for their stuff.

-Very loud man (mentally ill loud) comes in with his son, (they walked to the station) and spends his last dollar on smokers choice menthols. He was actually 10 cents short I took care of that one.

-I gave very loud man's son a hand full of free bubble gum. The kid won't talk for days now I think he tried to chew it all at once.

-Teenager comes in a asks for zig zags so I tell him how much, he doesn't have enough has to go out to the car to get more change. I let him. then I ask him for id when he comes back. Says he never took drivers training, I explain to him the concept of state id cards and refuse to sell to him. he leaves.....drives away in car. Worst part about this ...to much mud on the plate for me to call the cops on him.

-We go to clean the mens bathroom and there is a little dime bag in the toilet...empty. Find a bud of weed next to the toilet. Who rolls their doobies in a gas station bathroom??

That is all.

And so they died alone.
