Starting Fresh

Just a little update since I am home for the night and have not written in a while ( we dont' believe in internet at camp adventure)

My first week at this new camp has proved to be exactly what I needed...a sense of ownership with the program. I spent the good part of my week doing what some would refer to as "Project Days" this did not though include the usual agony of waking up and knowing that you will spend your entire day covered in dirt/sand/musty old stuff. It was actually great fun.

I started with our art shack of sorts, it is quickly becoming my favorite building with it's colorful walls and ceilings and it's all organized now.

Moved on to the waterfront...that was well it was gross.

And now I'm on to the garage where everything is stored in multiples of a hundred.

I'm still looking for a couple counselors and a health officer....oh and a lifeguard instructor, if you can help in any of these areas let me know.

I will post some pictures next weekend when I come home!
