This is Why.

This is why I don't watch lost anymore.

Seriously wtf.

How does time travel explain the purple polar bear or whatever it was in the first couple of episodes?

To be honest, your reason for not watching the show was because well...it sucked. Good idea at first, would have been a cool mini-series.

I am pleased to say I can't answer the question on the polar bear...my significant other though could field many questions on the show.

ok wait---- i'm assuming you all love xmen/super heroes due to the recent posts on the topic.

super heroes = not realistic. still really cool and entertaining; just like lost. there is a definite need for the viewer to embrace the suspension of reality to enjoy the show, just like almost every other thing put on TV.

nobody actually partakes in the witty banter and repartee in sitcoms, emergency rooms are never as dramatic in real life, and not all lawyers work in big corporate offices and are ridiculously good looking.

Its TV, people. If you start to criticize the fluff, what are we left with? PBS? no thanks.
